Interesting concept but character subplots were very forced/not natural and there were a lot of gaps in the main plotline.
There were too many characters that they focused on so you get a medicore backstory for all of them rather than a thoughtful one for the core ones. A lot of the backstory for characters felt cheap and forced to prove that everybody has a reason for their actions.
The pacing was really slow and a lot of the tension/foreboding built up from the first half of the show was a complete sham that gets converted into a strange love story. They could have told this entire story in 3 episodes instead of 9.
Not a horror film by any means, moreso a psychological plotline.
