As horror movies go, probably a 10 out of 10. As ad campaigns go, nothing better. I met people who saw the facebook ad who hate horror, and when I went the theater was packed. Great work, ad agency.

I think it's cool to hate this film, either because you hate the film that came after it and lump Forever in with Batman and Robin, or because you want more of the Tim Burton asthestic than this had, but this was the sweet spot between silly camp of Batman and Robin and the more serious side of the first two movies. The soundtrack was famously good. I liked Val Kilmer's performance enough to enjoy the film. I liked it as a teenager, when it was in theaters, and I would watch it again. Some of the videogames were even pretty good, and a decent game based on a movie was always a rarity.
