Honestly I expected wilder ride, but still enjoyed it immensely. A must for people who enjoy these kind of movies.

I'm afraid giving this a lower rating for a fear that a briliant movie maker will take me to screen his new film with a twist at the end.

I did not believe the high raitings, but I'm glad I was wrong. The Last Wish deals with heavy themes with silly, light, easy, also sometimes forced, but most of the time great humour. The story follows the same path we've seen hundreds of times, but it does it well and with some not so common narrative choices. I think the movie is more for those, who grew up on Shrek, are now adults and want a chance to stop, not think about work, expenses and responsibilites, and go back to that whacky fairytale land that does not take itsself that seriously.

One wise man once said: "Surprise to be sure, but a welcome one." This is how you do a sequel (or any movie for that matter); this is how you do a strong character that happens to be a woman. Although the movie is far from perfect, it deserves five stars for the balls it took to make in such a setting, the story, less grandeur (meaning less expolosions, actions etc.) what would you generally expect (less is sometimes more).

This is the kind of movie you are actually sad that it is still relevant today and if not (fingers crossed), it's still a hilarious, dark and brutal comedy for the whole family to enjoy.

With some funny plays on archetypes, pop culture and of course (some) events of 2020 once again everything pretty much revolves around the USA and god forbit making fun of China.

This takes me back to my college years, except the undead beavers or spending weekend at cousin's cabin ... with girls. Otherwise it was just like my college. If you enjoy movies like 'Cabin in the Woods' or 'Tucker and Dale vs Evil' you'll like this one too.

You did not watch this movie for smart plot, breathtaking acting or eye opening truth about todays society problems. Although this movie tries the hardest to fit EVERY possible action movie cliche there is it does it with ease and surprisingly with some speck of originality. It IS silly, but most of the time it is conscious about it.

Mando is the proof that Disney CAN do Star Wars right. Not movies though.
