No doubt Ajith has performed well in the film Mugavari. But the story is not framed well. The Hero, a person who has learnt Carnatic music from his childhood, a person who is shown to play the instrument Flute very nicely, just keeps trying to become a Music Director directly since 7 years. He never decides to join the troupe of any music director as an instrumentalist. Surprisingly, nobody, his near and dear, suggests him to first join as an instrumentalist. Most of the music directors we know, had been instrumentalists once. The director has missed this simple point and woven a story like this. To achieve his Goal, the director should have shown the Hero trying out ALL means to become a Music Director. His characterisation should be an Inspiration to the Youth struggling to achieve their goals. Music Director Deva has given Extraordinary Music, especially the rain song where the Hero sings in fusion mode to prove his talent.
