Having watched all seasons and 3 or 4 episodes into season 4, I can't help but be stunned by how increasingly dysfunctional the royals are portrayed, and the gaping chasm between their world and that of Margaret Thatcher. It left me feeling like, what is the function and purpose of these people, again?
