David Hodgson

For me this was incredibly written and is relevant. The empowerment a bully gets by hurting as well as emphasis that sho was emptied out by the fact he had never made friends, it really set this film apart. The emotions on the characters faces made me watch each scene closely to catch the subtle changes. My favorite part was how the movie used X's for shos lack of creating interpersonal relationships, creating the feeling that he was alone inside, and with the climax erasing those x's in the final moments instantly overwhelmed me with emotion. This is truly a beautiful story of love, friendship, and humanity.
