Though I haven’t watched this nor will I ever, this is just what I’ve taken in from the clips I’ve seen. And no I’m not going to watch the movie and change my opinion because the clips could be misleading, it’s ableist and I stand by my point. Doesn’t use a real autistic person, used black face. Overall feels like a mock being made of autistic people, while autistic people may stim and do things that make them comfortable, this doesn’t come natural to the actor since she isn’t autistic, which means she does these movements based on what autistic people look, which is practically just MOCKING autistic people, it’s overall just ableist. Plus the restraint that they planned to use in the movie is very dangerous and could/has killed people.
