4.5/5 Well....I have mostly positive things to say about this show. The story lines (for the most parts) are epic and very well written, particularly between seasons 3-5. The acting becomes much better between these seasons as the storylines become much more intense & monumental. My issues with this show is that it seems pretty clear that it should have ended on season 5 and not left on a completely unnecessary cliff-hanger to pave the way for 10 more unnecessary seasons. Having said all of that there are still some cool plot twists and story lines that came after Season 5, they just didn't have a decent foundation or incredibly well written ending in comparison to the end of Season 5. In all seriousness some of the realms the show experimented with just got silly and out of hand (*SPOILER ALERT* i.e. Land of Oz, The Darkness, God himself) and that is saying something when reviewing a show that is literally of the fantasy horror genre. The other issue I have particularly after season 5 is that there are actually many many unnecessary episodes just thrown in to make the seasons longer but have still not much or sometimes anything to do with the main story line. All in all the show is definitely one of the best shows I have seen of this genre (MILD RANT: honestly would have been best show ever if it ended where it should have). Generally the themes are really cool, and the way they have portrayed the huge number of different monsters is realistic, the lore and mythology is for the most past very accurate in comparison to other shows, and the running theme of family values and brotherhood is well adhered to. I would very much recommend this show.

Been playing the Resident Evil games since I was a kid and by far this has the most impressive, extended and in depth story line of all. Game play sticks to the classic fixed camera angles to maintain terror and shock when entering different area of the game. Capcom chose to keep 2 classic characters for this addition to the franchise, finally giving fans the brother/sister team up they were waiting for since the sequel to the original (Resident Evil 2 - 1998). The score keeps its light and dark themes depending on rooms, flooding the listener with disturbing and dark tones to increase suspense. Capcom have definitely kept the soundtrack to the fans liking. Highly recommend this to gamer's who want a feel for the original games with an improved story line, graphics and an longer terrifying experience.
