PSA - This game will record your conversations, and you CANNOT TURN OFF GAME CHAT. Even if you and your friends are in a chat party (I play on Xbox), game chat is on, causing an echo. You cannot "disable" it in options, all you can do is turn your mic sensitivity all the way down or mute everyone in game so that they can just record you while you can't hear everyone. This game also actively punishes solo players. You will not earn achievements, supply points, or CHARACTER UNLOCKS playing in solo mode, but the game will not tell you that.
Game design - This game feel like a Left 4 Dead 3 build that was made in 2011, dusted off, polished up and release in modern day. The levels are simple, linear and reused at various points. The special infected are also copied and pasted character models, so it is difficult to know where its weak point is at range. They also feel like they were designed with a dodge mechanic in mind that just never got added, and since movement in this game is super slow and feels like you are walking through deep mud, you just end up taking the hits to the face.
Game play - Shooting feels good, tight and accurate. The gun rarity and attachment system is interesting. It encourages you to swap out guns for new ones with better stats. This is the only reason this is not a one star review. However, the attachment system is scuffed as it will not allow you to hot swap attachments between equipped guns or weapons on the ground. The card system is awful, you waste a ton of time customizing your deck for how you want to play. Since everyone customizes their own deck, and your styles may not match up, the shared card system ends up being a hodgepodge of junk. This is all meaningless though because the "buffs" the cards give you don't feel like they make any difference anyway. As this is the only progression system in the game, it makes the game feel repetitive without reward.
Online experience - This is exactly what you would expect, a bunch of solo heroes running around only looking out for themselves, and everyone ends up dying one at a time. I would recommend only playing this game with a group of friends that you can communicate with, as long as you don't say anything the devs don't like, because they are listening.
