Violet Evergarden is a masterpiece that will make you feel once again through its brilliant storytelling and excellent presentation of emotions. The story revolves around our protagonist, Violet Evergarden, and her adventures of learning to understand others' emotions as well as her own. Violet Evergarden is beautifully crafted in many senses. The emotional ups-and-downs that Violet experiences are truly touching and sincere, almost as if one was there by her side sympathising with her. Emotions throughout the series are displayed with a sense of truth and sincerity, hence making the story profoundly beautiful. Despite her unfortunate background and differences, there were still many kind individuals around her who continued to support her, befriend her, and even help her when she needed it the most. The story tugs at the heartstrings that many of us have long forgotten due to our extended lack of exposure to impactful content such as Violet Evergarden. Every story they have to offer is packed with emotional content and presented alluringly, which brings me to my next point - visuals. The series' visuals are stunning regarding the animation style, color schemes, and lighting. Watching the series was appealing to the eye much like pieces of art, with many scenes being incredibly detailed and being rich in colour. On top of that, the series was awarded with the 2019 Crunchyroll Anime Awards for "Best animation". There is no doubt that one of Violet Evergarden's strongest aspect is its visuals. Finally, I come to my last point - characterisation. I'm gonna cut straight to the cheese, Violet is extremely charming. Do not misunderstand me, she has her flaws and shortcomings, but these all contribute to her character development thus making her much more enthralling and beautiful. She is a lovable character. One who is hardworking, diligent and empathising. I'm sure many of you take pity on her and root for her too. The series focuses on her development in understanding emotions and how to articulate them. Of course, Violet is not the only character worth watching in the series, albeit the most important one. Since all the stories are so heavily emotionally-packed, I feel that most, if not all, the characters have real personality, issues, and purpose. With many of them sentimentally changing after meeting a unique character with such admirable determination, Violet. Throughout the various arcs of Violet Evergarden, the show tackles various themes like depression, the understanding and articulating of emotions, the importance of communication, and love (of course). All expressed via these beautiful stories. My linguistic capacity can't truly do justice to how amazing the series "Violet Evergarden'' is. It is a series of compelling story after compelling story. The characters are unique, in-depth, and charismatic. In a nutshell, Violet Evergarden is an emotional roller coaster with gorgeous animation.
