Loved it. Great cast- funny situations, great production values. I see this movie as a future cable/streaming staple that promotes a feel good message long after the initial release date, which is the real value/message.
Often movies come out and tank at the box office, later to become popular viewing staples for future generations to enjoy and be inspired by.
I see this film as an update of the late 50s early 60s sex comedies, gorgeous cast, clever script but from a modern perspective. It is a little exaggerated, but it's a glossy rom-com and rom-coms are not reality so don't expect reality. But if you like your feel-good with a dash of sexy and sarcastic hyperbole- this is a great film.
Debra Messing is hilarious in her brief appearance and what a surprise to see Amanda Bearse!
I loved this movie and hope some young future young gay will find comfort in it as I did 40 years ago when I saw some 1960s epic that inspired and gave me hope and a new perspective.
