[Spoiler free review.] Spider-Man: No Way Home, what an incredible journey. This is probably the last entry to the 'home' trilogy and I must say they ended it with a large bang. Throughout the movie, you can feel and see the struggles of Peter Parker as he tries his best to fix everything that Mysterio caused. With many emotional scenes and nostalgic ones, I feel that it was a big power move to bring back many of the original cast such as Alfred Molina and William Dafoe. I'd like to think of the 'home' trilogy as the MCU's Peter Parker's backstory and his origin. From becoming Iron Boy Jr to fully taking on the name of Spider-man. It was probably the BEST Marvel movie to date.

[Spoiler Free Review] So I finally got my hands on the new Playstation 5 and decided to try out a variety of games. One of them, is the Game Award winning God Of War 2018. Where do I even begin? God Of War 2018 pulled off one of the most impressive shifts in a video game franchise I have ever seen. What started out as a semi-platformer series that the fans came to love quickly became a 'movie'. I would categorize this game as a 'movie' instead of an open world game because it truly is! This game was extremely good looking and cinematic. Even though it was released almost 3 years ago, it still holds up to the current next-generation titles in terms of graphics. Gameplay wise, I really do appreciate the fact that the developers were truly trying to switch and steer in a different direction. This could have really backfired HORRIBLY for them. The story throughout the journey was great. It was like a playable family drama. You get engaged in the world as there is a sense of mystery surrounding it. I'll say it again, you never know what you might find if you fire this game up and just randomly row your boat in a direction. That sense of mystery and excitement was what really pushed me to love and enjoy this game. Characters. Kratos truly has become unrecognizable. From the ball of rage and anger he once was, he became caring, understanding and wiser. Personally, I felt that he became like this due to having something he wants to protect, his son. People do complain that we don't see his development happen, but I feel we don't need to at all! We learn this when we start the game, Kratos was not and will not repeat his mistakes. Constantly pushing himself forward. This time, he is the one that is taking this slow and really trying to live a humble life. Issues. Now, here is the funny part. This game does not have many issues. For a game this big and this different to what we are used to, it is surprisingly well handled and well managed. The only complain I really had was the tedious 'quick time' events. Things like throwing your axe to break this or break that really felt repetitive and boring after a certain amount of time. I wish there could be more variety and it could show us more. In short, this game is still one of the most impressive and fantastic games out there. Even though there are a few issues here and there, the fact that they went and steer the ship 180 degrees around and still managed to handle this game so well really impresses me. 5/5, would HIGHLY recommend.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla...Where do I begin? What started off as a game that I had high expectations for fell flat when the first leak of combat gameplay came out. I was really pissed given the fact I had high expectations for the game. But face it, it's Ubisoft...When do they ever deliver? Well...I decided to give it a go anyway. I finished the main story and majority of the side quests and I have to say I was surprisingly blown out the water for this one. First, let's talk about the story and main character. Eivor is a decent main character, I'd even say he's one of the top 5 in my list. He is humorous at times and shows great emotion at other times. The story I feel was TOO LONG. The elements that make this game great truly shoots this game up but due to the story being 60 hours, I felt that the final 10 hours was me dragging my feet trying to complete this game. If they had taken what made the game fantastic that I will cover later and doubled them down but reducing the duration of the game for roughly 15 hours, this would have been one of my top 3 favorite games. Gameplay wise, we finally actually get to be an 'Assassin'. The first few hours of the game, I was highly skeptical if stealth was going to be a main element in the game, however after the first 2 hours, I was shocked that I actually used the hidden blade and social stealth to such extents. It really makes me happy that even though we get these features back, I still feel kind of...unsatisfied. The mix between fantasy and reality does not affect my feelings whatsoever. The real controversy is that Eivor doesn't 'actually become' an Assassin. Either we have to wait for the DLC to come or we are just seeing a Viking working with the Assassins, slapping a hidden blade on the wrist and boom. Final Verdict? This game will be worth your time when it is on a sale. Eivor is a good protagonist but not the best. Gameplay with social stealth and hidden blades along with one shot assassinations returning make me really happy. But this game gets screwed by the duration which could be fixed if the good elements of the game were double downed and reducing the duration by 15 or so hours.
