Amazing movie with a gripping story of survival, hope and sheer courage. It sounded a bit cliche in the beginning, zamp being a juvenile delinquent and his brother pushing him with thematic background music like a happy spring in the beginning but it picks up its pace when the plane crashes in the Pacific. They could've done a better job with appearances as their hair didn't grow any longer given the 47 days that they spent in the ocean, and the sadist bird could've been done by a better actor. His sadism didn't have the appeal of a cruel dictator. I would've liked it to be a bit longer and involve more gruesome scenes of their survival and rebellion among the camps but overall a decent watch. 8/10
