I am a huge fan. Not a lamb “personally I find that degrading” but everyone close to me associates her songs with me, so I was excited for this. I felt slightly irritated with her for most of the book because she was playing the victim card. I wanted her to come across as wise due to her traumas but she is still asking for pity. She’s not been through anything that crazy, most girls I know have far more interesting stories and a lot tougher upbringings, but she really dwells on things and is clearly resentful. She doesn’t take ownership over any of her mistakes, she doesn’t own her tantrums at all, but blames anyone, everything and everyone else. She’s spoiled and it’s very evident. The constant “daaaarling” saying was annoying too. I just couldn’t connect with her. I love her music though.. she’s a part of my past!
