Cannot recommend this one enough. It isn't often you can say that something elevates an entire genre, but Scavenger's Reign does. Balancing whimsy within devastation, curiosity within heartbreak, hope and determination side by side with bleak sadness. If you even remotely enjoyed Tales From the Loop, then you may well end up like me, with Scavenger's Reign firmly planted as a core memory of what a Sci-Fi story can be. Fair warning - even though it is not the most visually graphic story, it is incredibly intense at times. You may find your new fear unlocked by one of the many incredibly clever, yet haunting critters that make appearances in this show.

If you've played the previous iterations - you absolutely have to play this one. The sense of scale l, the detail, and the depth given to the world and nostalgic lore is spot on. If you've never played one, you're in for a whole different treat. A world of warring nations, each commanding monsters that make mountains look small, and there you are in the middle of it with clicky combos and flashy swordplay. What more do you want?

Finally seeing how the thoughts were meant to come together takes a disjointed and often times empty-suited hero movie and turns it into a the tribute to the material that Snyder always said it was meant to be. Yes, it is quite long and may be best viewed in two parts, but the the characters are fleshed out in a way that you actually care about them - and the ending is actually somewhat of a payoff instead of a lackluster "oh yeah ok" conclusion. One of the few, if any, DC movies that makes you say "I'd be interested to see that continue."
