I honestly think the story is lame and was only good up to the frieza saga (not including the raditz 6 episodes). First of all the fact that the original dragon balls can bring anyone back any number of times is ridiculous. Why make the original only able to bring back the same person once. How is a characters death supposed to be sad if we know they can be brought back in like 130 something days. Also the fact that goten and trunks can go super saijin at like 7 or 8 years old is absolutely stupid. Gohan had to go through training that so the world wouldn't be in danger of cell, goku achieved it after krillins second death and vegeta after goku had because he trained hard after goku had disappeared after he had defeated frieza. Its may have influenced many great anime but that doesn't mean it was good it just means that certain characters inspired a manga artist to base a character of their way of acting or reacting.
