I just want to let all watchers of Dr. Phil that are in a absuve situation to know that I was in a absuve marriage for 65 years until my husband passed away. It never stopped until he died. I couldn’t even mourn his passing because all I felt was “ I am FREE”. That is disgusting! But that is exactly what felt!!!! I would leave and then he would make all kinds of promises!!! It was a vicious cycle. Now it has been 6 years since he passed. I am 87 years old. Dr. Phil once said on one of his shows that we teach people how to treat us. That is soooo true! Please get out and stay out!!!!!
