Disappointing watch. I was surprised to learn from the end credits this was scripted by the talented Bobby-Sanjay pair. I can only imagine this to have been possible after the script to have had some interference outside the pair.
Loud and at most times annoying background score, over dramatised scenes to elevate the heroism, sometimes cringy. Over hyped introduction to the protagonist, uni-dimensional characters (Jiji Joseph's talent was wasted in this casting).
The centre theme of the movie seems to be the introduction of a path breaking bill into the assembly, which only takes less than an hour of the movie, the remaining is visibly bloated scenes. Even the political under currents and the challenges faced by the Minister are not convincing.
Cinematography is another failed department. A shot of the party room meeting from outside through a tinted glass and blinds a case in point. Slow motion sequences galore, seems the makers are stuck two decades into the past.
