Excellent fact based book. This book clearly demonstrates that fossil fuel use should be increased so that the flourishing of human life can increase. The benefits of fossil fuels clearly outweigh the risks, and the cheap, reliable, scalable, storable, and portable energy that fossil fuels provide is what has enabled the lengthening of human life and the increased abundance that we all now take for granted. I am almost certain that the computer I am using now to type this review, the air conditioning I have running in my house, and the electric light I have on in the room I currently in are all made possible/cheap by the use of fossil fuels. I used to be an "environmentalist"/anti-fossil fuel, but based on the above, I now love fossil fuels!
