An extremely disturbing intense tale about a young girl who gets demonically possessed by an unknown demon . Her mother slowly discovers her behaviour changing in violent and aggressive ways .The movie does start a bit slowly but intensifies along the way being graphic in ways not seen on film before.The exorcist was a shocking movie for its time and it remains shocking now - 3 and a half out of 5 and a 7/10.

i personally believe Jaws is a fairly overrated and boring movie. It has some captivating moments but not enough of them to call it a suspenseful movie .Jaws chronicles some violent deaths that occur on the beach of a small town. The town police chief suspects it might be due to shark attacks but not everyone else is on board with his theory. The movie has some gruesome scenes and was a big box office hit at the time but I believe needed more to make it a truly great film. It has a few entertaining scenes but clearly not enough - 4/10.

One of the top horror movies of the 70s and one of the best sci fi films ever made. The movie is about a space crew picking up an SOS signal from another planet . After returning to the ship they discover a mysterious extraterrestrial which further puts their lives in danger. The movie has a lot of strengths which can easily give the movie a good name including Sigourney Weaver's incredible and intense performance. The movie can be boring at times but for the most it is a captivating and suspenseful movie- 8/10.

The movie brings a great bone chilling atmosphere. You feel the fear from the movie. not relying on violence or gore .The production was especially impressive given the movie's miniscule budget.The movie also demonstrates good acting, intense scenes and a leading to a well made horror film. It is a similar movie to the Blair Witch Project and other found footage movies. Eight out of ten - strong movie.

This movie is truely amazing. most alien movies dont spook me but it is clever horror its not cliche at all. its creative its a great idea for a movie and it got executed perfectly.the performances were brilliant from natalie portman and jennifer jason leigh. and it clever the horror isn't jump scare type its chilling horror and the special effects were amazing if your more into a monster jump scare movie this might not be your thing but its unique. but overall 5 out of 5 truely chilling clever and amazing movie

spoilers ahead theres no denying it this movie was amazing one of john carpenters most underrated movies. It had a lot of unique aspects like the villains being kids. There was great acting by christopher reeve and the children it was freaky in a lot of different ways. Especially how they can read thoughts its so many peoples fear and how they they can make people kill themselves. And there age development and its not like many other horror movies and i love the way it gets scarier throw out the movie. It also positively lacked a cliche movie. And its also clever how the kids dominate humans by not having emotion. And to protect themselves its also chilling because its smart because humans would be more powerful without feelings so overall great movie and is worth watching.
