Kitti Walkup-Birkhead

Don't watch this expecting it to be anything like Haunting of Hill House. There is air of creepiness and uneasiness, but the characters are wonderful, and I found I loved rooting for them while trying to figure out what was going on. There's several little mysteries at work which first drew me into the series, but overall not much in the way of horror. The series doesn't suffer for the lack of horror. I found the mysteries more interesting.
