unfunny, unoriginal, ostentatious and vile. regardless of the dry "hisorical inaccuracies"; the great is a dumb exercise of "look i can write smth with a lof of f words in it, Huzzah !'' Elle is the only reedeming quality of the not so great, great, MAJOR dissappointment.

This was a very dissapointing film.I just did not like it at all octavia spencer did her best as usual she was fine but tbh i couldn't buy that whole "am evil" character from the get go she just sad,i never got the reason as to why she's being awfal to her child,luke evens's character was more understood than hers' ,the film just feels sloopy,a B movie for sure,i wasnted to enjoy it but i just never could,and all the jests and humour felt soo old and tasteless,if you ask me it is not worth watching...

This was not the best period drama i've ever seen yet i didn't watch it to get that either,i knew the story well it was intresting to get a sense of it fro the perspective of thomas cromwell,however i didn't love the performance of Foy as boleyn but i don't think it was entirely her fault the narrative of her character did not convince me at all,the setting was good the costume were quite authentic,loved the music it really puts one in the mood AND i couldn't get enough of mark rylance he SLAYED i loved the focus on him every move he made felt studied and smart i just loved it i don't know if would finish a second installment cause spoiler alert don't wanna see cromwell beheaded yeah but overall it's okay.

This movie is definitly worth watching,a great work,i was a bit let down by the ending but i immediately understood (and i didn't like it despite that however i didn't have to like it as long as i understood it and i think that's his main concern to understand his work)that finishing touch! I cried many tmes during the film bcs i took some parts of it as autobiographical bits.the whole movie is five hours long however i wasn't bored for a second i find that to be a remarkable thing to do,lars von trier can really do without any approval from anyone who matter they maybe,a lot of things mentioned in the film appealed to me enourmesly am greatful for all of his movies yet i haven't seen the house that jack built but am gonna say that Nymphomaniac is my favourit work of von trier.

So the only reason i saw this film was bcs i was told it is a psychological horror film,Although it has many incoherent bits and gaps yet despite that it hits on a psychological base,i actually felt the somber atmospher in the film i lived in that woman's anguished restless soul and i was uneased by it it doesn't really stick though and to show an actual monster that i didn't completely understood but i don't know i liked it.

I just got to see this film and i find to be very shortsighted,A LOT was left out no match to Elizabeth(cate blanchett) and Elizabeth:the golding age,ronan was great,i don't think the movei was fare in it's portrayal of Elizabeth, and at times exagerrated it's portrayal of marry's character,overall it still fun to watch but that's it and historical inaccuracies are criminal,3/5

This movie is very reminiscent of gone girl however the later is darker,good attention to details didn't appreciate spoiling les diaboliques for me...it can set the pave for more intresting noir style movies,the cast doesn't really hit on a steller level,performance wise,yet we are left with a great plot.
