I find the premise wonderful and fascinating. The execution leaves much to be desired. It is intended as a children's show, so I am baffled by the adults who enjoy it. The characters are whiny and tired. The fire prince comes off as a whiny arrogant child. Ang is a bit too slapstick. Katara is this tragic jealous figure. It has some wholesome lessons for kids, but iwatching for the first times as an adult, I found the characters trite and tiresome. I binged about 10 episodes,hoping to get into it. I hit my limit and can't stand to see more.

Loved it. As an adult reading fiction starring MUCH younger characters, I have to get past any teen drama before I know if I will finish the book. Read all 4. Keeps well with the lore and is very compelling. This is the kind of story Wicked SHOULD have been. That was many hours of my life I'll never get back. This is a delight!!!!
