KGF Chapter 1 is a picturesque portrayal of a character named Rocky. It has laid a benchmark of story telling. It has glorified a normal human being without any CGI to levels that would leave bleak the superheroes of Marvel and DC.
Hats off to the director, cinematographer and the makeup artist to create monsters, demons and gods. It is a kind of movie that does not seek one's attention to detail and criticism citing exaggeration, it was meant to be exaggerated for there is no other way of showing the enormity of the characters playing the story.
The jaw dropping narration of the protagonist and the other antagonists throughout the movie has laid a strong foundation to attract enough curiosity for Chapter 2. The instances where the narrator/writer moves ahead in the story somehow gives viewers hope that Chapter 2 would not be disappointing like Indian cinema's ritual. (No offense intended to Bahubali 2, or Race franchise and Bhai's flicks).
Music, action and dialogues would reverberate the entire course of the movie in your head after you watch it. This movie is one of a kind creativity inducing awe and inspiration towards the work of art and effort put in it..
