Was a Civil War nerd as a kid and was fascinated by the Civil War and everyone included in it. Grant was the guy who got the job done for the Union and was against slavery, like Lincoln. A great series showing what Grant did to turn the tide of the war in the favor of the Union because inept Generals in the Eastern Theater were losing battles, men and gaining little to nothing. Grant took the fight to Lee and kept fighting him to destroy Lee's army. Grant made some big mistakes, but his overall strategy was very high in intelligence and worked very well in the end.This series shows everything that I just wrote, including some of his 8 years as President and his accomplishments.
