I loved the first episode. I can’t wait until next Sunday. I felt like the racists were more frightening than the monsters. Killing the monsters who are trying to kill you would be without consequence. Killing the racists who are trying to kill you would STILL end up in your demise. I like the fact that racial tensions are highlighted. Exposing the history of this country for what it is. And here’s a shocker...this type of racism is still prevalent. At times the overt racism was hard for me to stomach because it hurt to see it. It also hurt knowing that people experienced such horrors and the perpetrators of those horrors got away free of punishment. And their children and grandchildren are doing the same just in a different way. But the writing and the storyline is something I enjoyed. I love horror and Sci-fi. My favorite genres. I’m definitely putting this one on season record on the DVR.
