I found Campbell's academic examination of YA Lit to be thrilling and fascinating. Im not an academic but I still felt that I gained much by reading this book. Cambell really breaks down the trends in a form of literature that is, right now, one of the most exciting and innovative. Even in this time of unfettered exploration in the genre, Cambell points out the standardization of YA plots via either the Order or the Other. A great read for an academic or for an enthusiast, I highly recommend adding this gem to your library.
