-SPOILERS AHEAD- i loved reading this book so i much. not only does tris have fantastic character development, but we get to see her understand who she is and finally find her place, she's not dauntless she's divergent. we get to see her blossom into a fiery, stubborn, and incredibly strong woman. i find myself feeling proud of how far she's come and know her mom is too. definitely felt like a knife in the heart when her mom died for tris, but that's just the type of person her mom is, willing to die for a good cause, especially for her daughter. it hurt because i know tris was close with her mother and loved her endlessly, her loosing her father was hard to read too as that means she watched both parents die, but it doesn't sting as bad since i wasn't fond of the father. i definitely grew more of a liking towards him at the very end, but nevertheless he's not my favorite, he didn't even visit tris and that was painful. he reminds me of my father so i suppose i'm more biased towards a strong dislike, oh well. anyways excuse my nonsense of rambling, over all this book is worth the read, it's so wonderfully worth it!!
