It's of course a much darker take on the traditional Disney film audiences may be expecting, as it tells a much different story. It's dramatic and intense and forces audience members out of the comfort zone they're used to. The story felt refreshingly new and the cast was excellent. Some characters however felt wasted, and almost as if they were unnecessary to the story altogether. The film can feel rushed at times and the CGI does have an animated appearance. I wish we got the opportunity to spend more time with many characters so to create an emotional bond, instead they were given little time to develop and seemed even one dimensional, luckily the stellar cast helped solve this. Overall I'd say it was a good film, but not great. 7/10
