It's one thing to show the public the ills of our society. It's another thing to want to dramatise the events subtlely to bring interest, thus, awareness. But this ain't it, chief. I've been watching this serial for a month now. The fact that most of the cast (lead actor notwithstanding) act like literal idiots, just going along w what the antagonist says, ' Gowri's unlucky blah blah', just makes it more frustrating and ridiculous. People don't act like that. Caricatures do. Also, making Gowri the passive protagonistis especially detrimental to a 'social oriented show'. If she's just shown to take all and every abuse, it defeats the point of this show, that you and people who really care for you can only change your pain. She should've gotten her parents put to jail for what's practically abuse. But nope. We hear nothing of the sort. That's a no from me.
