I just finished watching this amazing show starring Kate Winslet. HBO does it again! Even though I'm not from Pennsylvania, you really get a sense of what a tight knit community is through these terrible tragedies that strike. Mare is a complicated character, but so dedicated to her community, even at the expense of her own well being. She is a strong and vulnerable woman with so much to give and so willing to sacrifice herself for everyone else, honestly portrayed by Kate Winslet. It was amazing!!!

The plot is predictable, no edge of the seat here, and the hospital scene is totally unrealistic. Sarah Paulson and Keira Allen's acting make it worth watching though.
