Having lived in Saigon for four years, I was excited to see this - I hunkered down the day it was released. I'm a fan of Spike Lee, and think that the perspective of Black veterans deserved a better film. The timeline/ages of the characters made no sense, and Vietnam does not have landmines littered throughout the countryside: these two major flaws made the movie unwatchable.
