Brilliant performances by Asha Parekh and Rajesh Khanna. Great story, screenplay, dialogues, direction and not to forget the evergreen songs. A must watch it for all.

Excellent performance by Mumtaz. Sanjiv Kumar has also done well (as usual). Jeetendra is the surprise element in a cameo role, the highlight being the climax scene. Music is also good. But watch this film for Mumtaz. She has given a very brilliant and sensitive portrayal.

A beautiful, extremely moving, heart touching and sensitively directed film, one of my favourites. I've seen it so many times and still want to see again and again only for one reason, that is Rati Agnihotri. As Sultana, she is absolutely mesmerising.An amazing performance that lingers with you for a long time.Though Rishi Kapoor has also acted well,it's Rati all the way, be it her mannerisms, her stunning looks, her chaste Urdu....the list goes on. Each and every scene of hers with Rishi Kapoor is a real gem and a treat to watch, be it comedy or emotional scene. Some sequences are really touching and move and shake you to the core. You want to pause, rewind and play those scenes again and again. Of course the film has a great story, screenplay, dialogues and direction. A film not be missed, a must see for all. Watch it for Rati Agnihotri.
