I have made some delicious recipes from these books - even tricked someone into thinking they were eating a meat shepherds pie.
But they are so convoluted and take so long to make for mid-week dinners - I find myself getting stressed out. And I prefer it when on the ingredients list, it says how each ingredient is to be prepared, rather than having to search the recipe for this info but that's down to my own personal preference.
All well and good if you've got no job and never have plans for the weekend.
