My wife and I both cried, were uplifted and fell for all the mawkish emotionalism and surprises. Plus we talked about the movie and our reactions for an inappropriately long time. I guess we don’t get out enough. We also thought the all star cast did heartfelt excellent work because they’re as sentimental as we are. Maybe the critics just see too many movies and need to get a life.
