Ok maybe it's just me, but I was a huge vampire diaries fan, and only watched the originals because I felt Caroline's character kind of got the short end of the stick with Stephen choosing his brother over her, but there was always this huge epic feeling of her and Klaus connecting later, only to be completely disappointed throughout the entire series. Not to discredit the writing or ending of either series, but everyone else had an absolute epic love affair, except for Caroline and Klaus.... and well maybe it rang to true to real life, because both of those characters were so strong and fierce and could handle it on thier own, but really wished those two characters could have had the love everyone else was able to find.... sorry complete run on sentence, but maybe someone else can relate... to my context not so much the structure of my thoughts.
