i genuinely did not know what to expect from seeing the thumbnail and description. but all i have to say is that i definitely regret underestimating it, bc it was a pretty damn good movie. words are not enough to express the emotions i felt throughout the film, and how it really connected to me. the chemistry between them is unreal, and it didnt feel like it was a 2hr-long movie. no minute or second bored me out, not to mention the amazing soundtrack. i 11/10 recommend :)

i really loved the book! i finished within 3 days of reading because i got hooked so much. it was thrilling, just visualizing it. honestly, at first, i couldn't anticipate how a drought would escalate into a full dystopian world so the problems surfacing one after the other constantly left me to wonder "how are they gonna survive?" "how is this gonna end?". The main characters, their stories and personalities were so interesting and the character development was crazy- in a positive way. this is my first neal shusterman book and i don't regret buying it! looking forward to reading more of his/their works :D
