This was a great watch. If you want a great history overview of the causes of the war, this was good. The movie gives great context to the meaning of the battle. It was truly the turning point of the war. It's odd to see Woody Harleson play such an iconic figure. It was much like Tora Tora Tora, by giving both combatants the stage to see both sides of the battle. I saw a review that proclaimed this was a macho jingoist movie. I am glad that this current generation of Americans did not right this war. Historical represents the time, the place, and the stakes at hand. Go see it and learn something.
