Prenatal therapy. Bunch of vibrant pregnant women. Positive, cheerful therapist. Sounds like a beautiful movie brewing? Well, Anjali Menon manages to disappoint us as we read the closing credits. Desparately serving feel-goodness and sweetness. The journey of women could be told on so many lines, covering aspects which men are not aware. The characters just come and speak so shallow, lacking depth in emotions. Parvathy and Sayanora, what's their story? Nithya is that bubbly girl who makes you smile, but that's all about her. Padmapriya's life is mostly around her mom-in-law and dramatically the film manages to make her the sweetest out of nowhere. Their partners were forced to act not knowing what to do. Amrutha Subash and her partner were the only saving grace of the film. Defined couple with some strong performances. Nadia and the girl who played Gracy deserves special mention. SonyLiv please keep up your movie choices, unlike this surely missable one.

It's quite shallow and the characters, situations are neither relatable nor believable. Jayasurya saves the runtime with the performance. The isolation and depression were merged to form something new, but the movie fails at engaging anybody. The voiceovers were dramatic. The music is average. The camera angles and editing is quite appreciable, direction is mere a cake walk for Ranjith now. Overall the script doesn't offer much to relive the isolation times Maybe it's too early to judge life at scales of Covid.

Sunny

A lost opportunity. Poor writing. It felt like they literally had to stitch so many plots that I felt tiring after sometime. The film didn't do justice to its title. As a crime thriller fan, I was expecting a lot more of forensic science, but the film hardly gave anything new to the viewers. The first half of the movie gives some hope, but into the second half the movie goes down the drain. The characters lacked soul in their performances, including Tovino. He looked clueless in many parts of the film. A Medico Legal Adviser was mostly playing the role of an investigation officer. The great plus of the movie is the background score. Commendable job by Jakes Bejoy who makes this film watchable through the end. Overall, an average effort by the team.
