This is the exact game that we wanted in 2015! Unfortunately it’s 2024. There definitely does not feel like 10+ years worth of improvement and innovation playing this game. Same basic cut seems, same flat buggy game play. If we had gotten an iteration every year for the past 10 years to lead to this, the improvements would have been so minuscule they would have gone unnoticed. To be honest I thank EA for not making me spend 60$ every year for the past 10 years. And showing me that I didn’t miss out on anything.
