I am not much of a serial hunter. I can't remember when I began to watch this serial however. Economics could be the reason. I have taught Economics at the Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi and Kolkata all my life as well as across the world (US, Japan, Canada, Hong Kong and so on). It was funny to hear Sankha's Economics lecture earlier on and I didn't think I would be watching this again. Even so, I got attracted by the serial for the highly irrational reason that it is taking me back to the romantic movies of my young days. This couple is reviving memories of Uttam-Suchitra. I wish them well even though my PhD scholars make fun of me. I will keep watching this serial and I hope it lasts for two or three years more at least. And I am upset that for an unknown reason there was no telecast today, i.e. October 4.
