Under Fauci's leadership, we have one of the highest death rates in the world, we've produced three vaccines which require 2 follow-up boosters that we've been told will be annual, and our public health institutions under the guidance of Fauci refused to explore natural immunity.
After watching the documentary, you would think Fauci singlehandedly wiped Covid from the face of the Earth, but he didn't. That is what makes the documentary so painful. Instead of holding Fauci accountable for failing in his role, or at least being objective about his shortcomings, the documentary simultaneously victimized and martyrized Fauci while shaming the true victims - the people who died, the people locked indoors, the business owners who lost businesses, the people who committed suicide, and the list goes on. Presenting the public's opinion of Fauci as a false binary - either you support him or you are an ignorant anarchist trying to destroy democracy - is not only intellectually dishonest, it's abusive. To do this as documentarians is unfathomable.
This underlies a greater issue at hand - corporate media, including Disney, has lost public trust while refusing to look at the role they played in over 700,000 deaths via their unwillingness to be objective. Instead of fact-finding or truth-telling, this has been a year and a half witch hunt for those who raise questions when they feel something simply doesn't sound right. And, to put a red stamp on the dysmorphia of corporate media, the witch hunters are bringing this horror story to a close by congratulating themselves in a story of fiction under the guise of a documentary hoping history won't remember that they weren't hunting witches but innocent victims.
Luckily, history will remember. And, if there is one thing that is certain, it is that documentaries like these won't be on the right side of history nor will Fauci or the media that enabled him.
