Major Disappointment. Didn’t pick this show because of Yellowstone or Sheridan’s success. Picked this show because Billy Bob and John Hamm slayed on Fargo. I’ll follow those two for life. But as Julia Roberts’s said in Pretty Woman…Big mistake..Big.
Billy Bob is bad santa re-incarnated. Same shtick, language, fbombs, drinking. Add in useless ex wife and tart for a daughter. It’s bad writing and BBT deserves better. As does Hamm. And Demi. I’ll give ep 3 a try hoping they lose the ex wife and daughter and perk up the writing. Cause right now? It’s amateur and plagiarizes material from Bad Santa.
Get back to basics and make this series watchable.

Starts out interesting and KB is so watchable. However the copious drinking and chair voyeurism gets old really quick. I didn't make it to the halfway point and no clue who dunnit if in fact anybody did it. Check with the handyman.

Damn this woman can write. Achingly beautiful descriptions in every sentence. This book is broken into short chapters instead of a long complete story. Every word is chosen with care. NY is a continental divide that provides the backdrop for this lonely young woman. Yet the book is not depressing, hardly. It takes courage to pick yourself up and figure it out, make mistakes and not hate yourself for questionable choices.
Sadly, the plot was not my cup of Lipton. Open marriage while a minor is in the home.
Nope. Holding out for follow up novel and hoping our heroine is hiking the Appalachian Trail instead.

I enjoy it although their lack of privacy ups the voyeuristic quality,increasing the ick factor. Luke is not engaged in the process, yet, im rooting for these 2. We will see.
