It was NOT a comedy (as advertised) and I think it's too intense for children. BUT it was a great movie!! The main character Briggs has been d/c'd from Army b/c he has so many injuries from Iraq War including head injuries and PTSD. He is trying to get a service dog (who has its own issues from the war) to a military base where they will eval the dog and maybe put him to sleep. The movie was so emotional to me...caused me to think a lot about my deceased husband Jerry and all the veterans we both were honored to work with at the Atlanta VA. This is a great movie for veterans and dog lovers. And it will show the average citizen how much our soldiers deal with when they come home from war. Highly recommend it!! Loved Channing Tatum! I love the show and once again tonight the episode really made the viewer think. BUT I was very disappointed in the end. It made sense that Bull was cocky about saying he had reserved his suite in hell...BUT it was totally out of the character that had been established for the priest that the priest smiled/laughed when Bull sd that. It just felt so wrong. I was so disappointed.
