This movie clearly shows what a pure friendship based on higher love would be like. It also is a joyful celebration of the imagination, one of humanity's greatest possessions. Jess and Leslie shared their ideas and adventures in a safe space they created called Terabithia. Yes, it's possible for 2 people who are very different to bring out the best in each other. This magical relationship touched others as well. The film deals in a practical way with a number of difficult life challenges and the effects of these changes on everyone. There's an emphasis on the power of love and hope in observing how the characters strive to cope and heal from such experiences. The movie provides families opportunities to discuss these things. I believe it's important and an act of compassion to prepare children for what they may face in the future. As an adult, I felt this cinematic journey is a blessing; and it has revitalized my spirit. I look forward to reading the book. See yah in Terabithia!

I couldn't bear watching this movie. I stopped when they moved to Colorado. The father was trying so hard to maintain an affluent lifestyle so the mother could stay home with 3 children. Naturally, it required putting long hours in at work. She kept pitching fits accusing him of neglecting the family like a spoiled baby brat. This ungrateful attitude was soon adopted by the children. This woman calls herself Christian -- ugh! There was very little focus on the dog, the supposed star of the movie. I give it a ZERO STAR RATING.

Sci fi has become so predictable. As a fan of the genre, I was delighted to discover Debris. There are X-Files nuances. But the show has its own flow and rhythm. The two main characters, Finola and Bryan, are both dedicated to their work. Finola is a warm hearted physicist with a beautiful spirit. She genuinely wants to make the universe be a better place. Bryan's background is military. He has experienced the horrors of war. He's become pessimistic in his outlook. Since Bryan has a difficult time trusting people, he keeps his cards close to his chest. Although they hold drastically different views, he appreciates Finola's abilities and inherent kindness. They share a mutual respect for each other. It will take time for Bryan to open up and let us see who he really is. I look forward to seeing the journey the screen writers are going to take us. I hope more scientists will be featured to focus on the science. As many reviewers have already stated, this program has great potential.
