Horrible Launch for Dice on this one. I waited up until now with all the recent patches and I have to admit, I have never saw Dice push out this many patches in such a short time. There are obvious features missing here, and I would love to see more infantry based modes on all out warefare, but this is not a bad game anymore. Gunplay is much improved, Rush mode and 64 player Breakthrough are a blast, and Hovercrafts got a much needed nerf. There is much work to be done here, but I am happy to report that this is not a 1/5 like many are putting on here.

Playing on Ps5 currently. It’s a shame because there are improvements. Ones that a yearly madden player will like. The problem is none of these improvements can overcome all the shortcomings of this game. Cover 3 is absolutely horrible, and you are basically at the mercy of vertical routes all game long. Still far too many glitches and weird clipping animations for this to be a true next gen game. Honestly only going to continue to play because it’s the only football game out there. This isn’t a “bad” game though. There can be tweaks. In this current state though I would wait for a sale. Not good not bad overall it’s just a strange mixed bag.
