the movie covers only the exile and homelessness of kashmiri pandits but ultimately fails to stick with the propaganda. The brutality, ethical cleansing, massacre was all omitted. The movie is disappointment in itself. I really feel the director could have done a far far better job instead of just turning it into a love story or may be he never had that courage to show the real exodus. With such a great subject which was never shown in bollywood before, VVC could have made a subtle impact on the audiences. May be I expected a lot from the movie or the trailer misguided me. I was more interested in knowing the why's and how's. I wish Anurag Kashyap would have taken this subject as he never fears to showcase the harsh realities and bitter truth.
