Absolutely loved it! Definitely a must watch. It’s refreshing to find a tv comedy series that actually is just stupid funny but has a great analysis on humans and their emotions. So many so called comedies try too hard to be clever and ironic that they don’t actually make me laugh. Hubby and I laughed our butts off. Finding the balance between stupid and smart isn’t always easy but the script, the cast etc w were great. I’ve loved the main actor Alan since I saw him in Death at a Funeral (the original UK version is way funnier than US) and also saw him in Dodgeball. I remember bugger all except he played a guy called Pirate Steve. He is probably one of the most underrated comedic actors around. Get some snacks and binge it over the weekend.

Cute and funny film for a Sunday afternoon of streaming. If you’re not a fan of Hoges or the Dundee franchise or haven’t watched the movies then you may not enjoy it. I had no real expectations of the film and was pleasantly surprised. Lots of hilarious cameos and a silly plotline plus a very chilled out Paul Hogan taking the piss about celebrity fame culture. Good watch especially if you’re Aussie.

I don’t watch a lot of violent films anymore as it’s usually just shooting, blood and gore and no real storyline and/or wooden acting. The story is well told, dialogue believable for an unreal storyline and the pacing is excellent. Such a brilliant cast I especially loved the gay couple. The actors did a brilliant job of bringing forward multi layered and multidimensional characters who are strong and brave yet flawed humans even though they are immortal. Hands down one of the best action flicks I’ve seen in years and personally I feel it’s the best action movie I’ve seen that was developed by Netflix. Definitely a must watch and I can’t wait for them to bring out the sequel.
