Tim Burton took a timeless Disney classic and turned it into a dark and disturbing tale of animal abuse, child abuse, death, greed and attempted murder. While Dumbo stars an adorable floppy eared CGI elephant with crystalline blue eyes, the rest of the film has no redeeming qualities. The storyline is a practice in what-else-can-go-wrong. Each scene seems to one up the disaster factor. Tim Burton should consider a long retirement along with his depressing outlook. Disney should issue an apology to movie goers for the assault on their senses with this film.
