I love this series. I have read the original Father Brown books and simply love this adaptation by BBC.

When two strong personalities clash over a relatively unimportant matter. The very good acting and direction makes this movie a must-watch. I must say I did not go into the movie with very great expectations. After watching it in the theater, I have watched it twice more in Amazon Prime.

A highly anticipated movie which delivers. Great acting and story. Story might not be for everyone but I enjoyed it. Fahad has been a safe bet for me for some time now abd he has delivered again. The direction and cinematography are perfect.

Style acceptable but no substance. Rajanikanth the star has again stifled Rajanikanth the actor. Very disappointed with the script and the acting. The mind mght be willing but the body is definitely not. Action scenes not at all convincing. Story is a wafer-thin excuse, nothing could make me overlook the fact that so far as action scenes are concerned, Rajinikanth, at least in this movie is not convincing.

Forget about the books and take it as a fantasy series. You will enjoy it better. I keep trying to figure what else might have been changed from the books.
